A 2-year-old was child poisoned with CO in Tbilisi late last night. The incident occurred in the house, where the miner’s family is renting an apartment.
As the gas supplier company KazTransGas Tbilisi explains, the family was using an inappropriately installed water heater.
Doctors say the patient’s condition is not life threatening.
“According to statistics, 70 percent of cases of intoxication and death due to carbon monoxide intoxication are reported in rented and mortgaged apartments.
"KazTransGas - Tbilisi" warns you to ask specialists to check gas pipes and devises prior to renting or mortgaging apartments,” the gas supplier company said in statement on February 16.
