Reportedly, up to 20 persons detained in Poti and Senaki, western Georgia, in a special operation this morning. According to the lawyers of the detainees, they were taken to the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti regional police facilities. Other details of the special operation are unknown at this time.

“The special operation was mainly conducted in Poti and Senaki. Up to 20 persons have been detained,” Jita Gulua, lawyer of one of the detainees, said. According to her, allegedly, the mentioned persons were detained for membership of a “criminal underworld.”
