The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has released a statement regarding the assault on “Bank of Georgia” branch office in Gldani district, in Tbilisi.

“No one has been injured in the assault on “Bank of Georgia” express bank in 6 th micro/district of Gldani district, Tbilisi. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has launched an investigation under Article 179 of the Criminal Code of Georgia (armed robbery), Article 236 (illegal purchase and keeping of firearms), Article 143 (unlawful imprisonment),” the MIA said in a statement.
