Representatives of local authorities will arrive in the village of Khurvaleti in a few minutes.
According to Konstantine Tavzarashvili, Mayor of Gori Municipality, he will monitor the situation in the vicinity of the occupation line himself.
"I will be in Khurvaleti in a few minutes and I will give you detailed information about the situation. All information that I have had was unverified information and they can be provocative”, the Mayor said.
Meanwhile, reporters have arrived at the checkpoint on the Khurvaleti road, but they are not allowed to approach the watchtower that has recently been built by the de facto authorities of Tskhinvali.
The remarks come shortly after the Mayor confirmed reports about the presence of representatives of the occupation regime on the territory controlled by the central government of Georgia, near the village of Khurvaleti.
