Russian FM to meet with de-fact FM of occupied Abkhazia

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will meet with Daur Kove, de-facto foreign minister of occupied Abkhazia. According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the meeting will be held in Moscow on April 1.

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said on Thursday that at the meeting the “sides will discuss strengthening of interaction in the context of foreign policy within the frameworks of Geneva discussions.”

“The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia will pay a working visit to Moscow from March 31 through April 2. On April 1, the sides will discuss topical issues of bilateral relations as well as the issue related to strengthening the international position of Abkhazia,” Maria Zakharova said
