Defense Minister says Ministry has a specific defense plan in case of military aggression

According to Defense Minister Levan Izoria, the Ministry has a specific defense plan in case a military aggression is carried out against our country.

"The policy is in compliance with NATO deterrence and defense principles. Consequently, our concept of total defense is based on these two principles. Deterrence combines two components - political and military, which implies the creation of a high quality environment when the potential aggressor has the feeling that the aggression will bring bad political and military consequences for it. However, only deterrence is not enough. The Ministry has a specific defense plan in case of a military aggression against our country, which maximally guarantees deterrence of the aggressor and stability of the country," Izoria said.
