Juan Guaidó : Russian and Cuban soldiers are in Venezuelan territory illegally

Juan Guaidó, interim President of Venezuela, said in his interview with the newspaper Clarin that Russian and Cuban soldiers are in Venezuelan territory illegally, since their arrival was not approved by Parliament.

“An illegal military intervention is taking place in Venezuela, it is about the Russian and Cuban militaries, the resolution which gave Maduro (President of Venezuela – the UNIAN). But only Parliament can authorize foreign intervention or the arrival of the military,” said Guaidó.

According to him, the opposition has “never seen a military solution to the crisis in Venezuela.”

“Only Maduro is considering the possibility of military intervention when talking with Bashar al-Assad (President of Syria – UNIAN) and promises to turn the country into another Syria, and when he opens flights between Tehran and Caracas,” said Juan Guaidó.
