Bilateral investment projects, trade relations and cooperation in tourism have been discussed at the meeting between Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia, and Faisal Al-Fayez, President of the Senate from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The meeting was held today at the Government’s Administration of Georgia.

As the PM’s press office informs, the sides focused on the successful reforms implemented in Georgia. The Prime Minister noted that Georgia is ready to share its experience with Jordan.

Discussions were also held over current challenges facing the region, situation in the occupied territories of Georgia and peaceful initiatives of the Government of Georgia.

Mamuka Bakhtadze recalled his visit to Jordan, when he served as a Minister of Finance of Georgia. President of the Senate of Jordan stressed the importance of further strengthening of cooperation with Georgia in various directions. The Prime Minister of Georgia invited the King of Hashemite Jordan to Georgia and noted that the visit of His Majesty will serve as a basis of a completely new phase of bilateral relations.
