De facto South Ossetian government accuse Georgia of violating the so-called border

Representatives of the de facto South Ossetian government accuse the Georgian police and unmanned aerial vehicles of violating the so-called border.

According to the Ossetian media, representatives of the so-called delegation of Tskhinvali discussed the mentioned issue at the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism meeting. According to the head of the so-called delegation, Igor Kochiev, unmanned aerial vehicles were discovered three times.

"Unmanned aerial vehicles violated South Ossetian airspace three times on one and the same day. They flew over our border checkpoint. The vehicles were flying at low height for 10 minutes. The Georgian side has not commented on the possession of unmanned aerial vehicles and noted that they could be tourists or teenagers," Kochiev said.

As for the violation of the so-called border by police, Kochiev says that this fact was revealed in the same district where the unmanned aerial vehicles were flying.

"Police car entered the Znauri district, passed the border sign and returned to Georgia. In the second case, police entered our territory, but left it after we launched a hot line," said Igor Kochiev.
