President releases statement on border delimitation

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili welcomes the resumption of negotiations between the Georgian and Azeri sides on the issue of border delimitation. Zurabishvili has released a statement regarding this issue.

"I welcome the resumption of the delimitation process between Georgia and Azerbaijan, which had been suspended for years and which was agreed on at a meeting with President Ilham Aliyev during my visit to Azerbaijan.

I am confident that, due to our long-term good neighborly relations, the parties will be guided by strategic partnership and this process will give us a quick outcome," reads the statement.
