De facto Tskhinvali to close so-called “border with Georgia”

The de facto government of the occupied Tskhinvali region will close so-called “border” for several days, - so-called Security Committee of Tskhinvali region has reported.

According to the statement, released by the “committee”, the “border” will be closed due to the solemn ceremonies dedicated to the "last bell" in schools.

"Due to the strengthening of security measures in connection of the solemn ceremonies dedicated to the "last bell" in schools, all border checkpoints with Georgia will be closed from 8:00pm on May 24,” the statement reads.

So-called Security Committee says that “border checkpoints” will be open at 6:00 am on May 26.
