List of judges, appointed by Supreme Council of Justice, unveiled

The list of the judges, set by the Supreme Council of Justice, has been unveiled:

Khatia Ardazishvili and Nino Kanchaveli have been appointed in the Administrative Cases Chamber of Tbilisi Court of Appeals. One position remains vacant as other candidates failed to obtain the necessary number of votes;

Davit Akhalbedashvili and Mikheil Gogishvili have been appointed as judges in the Civil Cases Chamber of Tbilisi Court of Appeals. One position remains vacant as other candidates failed to obtain the necessary number of votes;

Besik Bugniashvili and Vakhtang Mrelashvili have been appointed as the judges in the Criminal Cases Chamber of Tbilisi Court of Appeals. One position remains vacant as other candidates failed to obtain the necessary number of votes;

Paata Silagadze has been appointed in the Investigative Board of Tbilisi Court of Appeals. One position remains vacant;

As for the Administrative Cases Chamber of Kutaisi Court of Appeals, all candidates failed to obtain the necessary number of votes (at least 10 votes) and correspondingly, the position of the judge remains vacant.

The position of the judge in Civil Cases Chamber of Kutaisi Court of Appeals also remains vacant as none of the candidates obtained the required number of votes.

Leri Tedoradze has been appointed as the judge in the Criminal Cases Chamber of Kutaisi Court of Appeals.

Nikoloz Marsagishvili and Giorgi Mikautadze have been appointed as judges in the Chamber of Administrative Cases of Tbilisi City Court.

Zaza Martiashvili, Besarion Tabaghua and Eliso Tukvadze have been appointed as judges in the Chamber of Civil Cases of Tbilisi City Court.

Giorgi Arevadze, Ekaterine Gabrichidze and Liana Orkodashvili have been appointed in the Chamber of Criminal Cases, Investigative and Pre-trial hearing.

Jumber Bezhanidze has been appointed as a judge in the Chamber of Administrative Cases of Batumi City Court.

Nikoloz Margvelashvili – in the Chamber of Administrative Cases in Kutaisi City Court.

Mamuka Nozadze- in the Chamber of Civil Cases of Rustavi City Court.

The list of judges appointed in Akhaltsikhe District Court, Gali-Gulripshi and Ochamchire-Tkvarcheli District Court, Zestaponi District Court, Terjola, Zugdidi, Telavi, Mtskheta, Samtredia, Vani, Sighnaghi, Poti, Tsageri, Khashuri, Kareli District courts have also been unveiled.

As for Senaki and Shuakhevi District courts, the positions of judges remain vacant as none of the candidates obtained required number of votes there.

A total of 78 candidates have filed applications for 43 vacant positions of judges.
