Three people killed in helicopter crash in Kazbegi

Three people were killed when a helicopter crash in Kazbegi, Mtskheta-Mtianeti region of north-eastern Georgia, Tamaz Alibegashvili, deputy mayor of Kazbegi, told InterpressNews. According to him, there were only 3 people on board.

He said the helicopter belongs to “Rooms” hotel.

“An investigation is underway into the incident. I cannot tell you details at this stage,” Tamaz Alibegashvili said.
