Sandra Roelofs: We will try to force the Parliament to set up a fact-finding commission in connection with Temirlan Machalikashvili’s case

We will arrive in various regions in the summer and will try to collect 100 000 signatures in order to force the Parliament to set up a fact-finding commission in connection with Temirlan Machalikashvili’s case, - Sandra Roelofs, a member of the National Movement, said in front of the Parliament, where Temirlan Machalikashvili’s parents and volunteers started to collect signatures.

Sandra Roelofs was the first to sign the petition. According to her, the creation of the commission is a public demand.

"We want the Parliament to set up a fact-finding commission in connection with Temirlan Machalikashvili’s case. This petition has twice been submitted to the Parliament, but could not gain enough support.

We will arrive in various regions in the summer, we will talk to people and will try to collect 100 000 signatures in order to force the Parliament to set up a fact-finding commission in connection with Temirlan Machalikashvili’s case.

We want to prove with this petition that a high number of people support establishment of a commission in Machalikashvili’s case”, Roelofs said.
