The project of replacement of so-called “Khrushchovka” residential flats in Varketili district of Tbilisi will be launched in the nearest future, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze told reporters on Thursday.

According to the Tbilisi Mayor, a winning company has been revealed.

"The expression of interest was announced. A winning company has been revealed. This is the first pilot project in Varketili, the construction will presumably start in the nearest future," Kaladze said.

According to the information, obtained by InterPressNews, the “Varketili Development” company expressed interest in the project of replacement of so-called “Khrushchovka” residential flats and became the winning company. Tbilisi City Hall has confirmed this information.
