Salome Zourabichvili meets population in Borjomi

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili met with locals in Borjomi and talked about the potential and development of the region.

She expressed readiness for the popularization of the region abroad.

According to the President of Georgia, it is our obligation to maintain our heritage and save it despite the climate changes.

She also talked about the problem of unemployment and importance of professional education.

“Today, the unemployment rate is very high in the country, but on the other hand, we cannot find enough specialists needed for our country's economy. As result, foreigners come to our country and we should balance this”, - said President Salome Zourabichvili at the meeting with the residents of Borjomi.

"Partially this is to be done by the government. They should plan better and inform the population of the priorities of the economy in advance, but it is not only the government’s responsibility. The problem today is the lack of craftsmen who are needed for the development of the country," the President noted.
