Economy Minister : We intend to alienate Gori wind power plant in about a month

We intend to alienate Gori wind power plant in about a month or one and a half month, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava told InterPressNews while speaking about the plans for privatization of state property.

According to Natia Turunava, quite complex privatization objects remain in the state ownership, which require special preparation before the sale.

“For example, we intend to alienate Gori wind power plant in about a month or one and a half month. It has a loan agreement with the EBRD, its obligations. We have to prepare this object. The “Georgian Post” is the similar one. We have other objects too, which require packaging,” Natia Turnava said.

To the question whether the alienation of the “Georgian Railway” is being discussed, the Minister replied that the “Georgian Railway is not for sale.”
