Famous Georgian singer Nino Katamadze pledges she held her last concert in Russia

I have never been lazy to speak up against violence and injustice, I have always said all over the world, including in Russia, that Russia is an occupant, Putin is an enemy of my country and therefore my enemy! – reads famous Georgian singer Nino Katamadze’s Facebook post.

“June 20 was the hardest day in my life and I had the hardest concert on June 22, which I could not cancel only because of the blind 9-year-old girl. I said during that concert and I want to tell you again that this was my last concert in Russia!”, the singer says in her statement.

According to her, she shares the demonstrators’ demand regarding the resignation of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Giorgi Gakharia.

“Russia is occupant. Putin is our common enemy!”, says the singer.
