President’s Spokesperson: There was no ironic tone, no irritation at the meeting with students

The Administration of the President of Georgia denies that there was any tension at the meeting between President Salome Zourabichvili and Georgian students.

According to president's spokesperson Khatia Moisrafishvili, the President gave answers to the students' all questions and she was not irritated. She also denied the reports disseminated by the students that the Presidential Administration called them illiterate.

"The information spread by some media outlets concerning the meeting between Georgian students and the President of Georgia was an absolute lie. The President was not irritated. She answered all questions, including about Davit Gareji. There was no ironic tone, no irritation and no words mentioned by the students in the TV stories," said Khatia Moisrafishvili.

According to Rustavi 2, the students said after the meeting that Zourabichvili was irritated by questions asked about Davit Gareji.
