“Rustavi 2” TV information service chief denies meeting between  Irakli Okruashvili and journalists

Nodar Meladze, Head of Information Service at “Rustavi 2” TV, categorically denies reports that the TV journalists have met with Irakli Okruashvili.

Meladze said he heard just the live statement from Okruashvili on July 20.

Ana Rekhviashvili, one of the founders of the political movement “Victorious Georgia”, said a meeting was held between Irakli Okruashvili and “Rustavi 2” journalists . She said Okruashvili offered 80 % of the company shares to about ten journalists. According to Rekhviashvili, journalists said they needed certain time for making the decision.
