Paata Salia accuses Nika Gvaramia of deliberately bankrupting Rustavi 2 company

Director General of Rustavi 2 company Paata Salia accuses his predecessor Nika Gvaramia of deliberately bankrupting the Rustavi 2 company. He said at a press conference on Monday that they would apply to the court, requesting compensation for damages inflicted to the company for years by fiduciary obligations of the company director general.

Salia said that since 2015, the costs of the company had been significantly increased, while the incomes had been decreased, although, despite the loss the company management received hundreds of thousands as bonus.

“There are signed contracts, which emerge doubts that the interest of the other party is greater than that of Rustavi 2. For example, I see indebtedness to specific legal entities in exchange for certain services and no one can tell me what this service is and where there are studies for which 600,000 GEL has been paid. All this rise doubts that the company has been deliberately bankrupted for years.

We will certainly apply to the court, requesting compensation for the damages inflicted to the company for years by the fiduciary obligations of the company director general. We will definitely do this, since the public has once and forever evidently learnt that there was nothing to do with sequestrations, but we dealt with targeted action against “Rustavi 2”, “ Paata Salia said.

According to him, despite of the recent situation the company management is actively working and a new season is being planned.
