The taxes paid in the Tbilisi Budget by the gambling business amounted to GEL 35 million and 481.6 thousand, including GEL 21 million from slot machines, within six months,- according to the report of the Municipality of Tbilisi on the implementation of the 2019 budget for 6 months.

According to the report, in the first six months of this year, the Tbilisi budget received GEL 35,481.6 thousand as taxes from a gambling business, which is a 101.4% fulfillment of the expected GEL 35 million.

The taxes paid by the gambling businesses in 2018 were distributed as follows: From slot machines – GEL 21,024.4 thousand (59.3%); From the casino table : GEL 11,080.0 thousand (31.2%); other facilities : GEL 3,377.2 thousand (9.5%).

The taxes paid in the budget by the gambling business during the first 6 months of 2019 decreased by GEL 3 million and 343.9 thousand compared to the same period of the last year.
