MP Eka Beselia denies reports that Gedevan Popkhadze left his party

MP Eka Beselia denies reports that Gedevan Popkhadze left his party. Beselia told InterPressNews that Gedevan Popkhadze also denied the reports about him leaving the Justice Party.

"Neither me nor Gedevan confirm these rumors," Beselia said.

InterPressNews was informed as early as July that Gedevan Popkhadze left the newly formed party.

In June, Popkhadze told InterPressNews that he did not have time for party activities and had other plans, but he also added that it did not mean that he would leave the party.

The founding congress of the Justice Party was held on June 20, where Eka Beselia was elected as Chairwoman, while Gedevan Popkhadze was elected as Secretary General of the party.
