Hottest days are expected during the next few days in Georgia.
As InterPressNews was told by the National Environment Agency, the air temperature will rise to +36, +38 degrees.
“According to the information provided by the European Climate Center of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO, a heatwave is expected to hit mountainous regions of Georgia through September 3 and the temperature will reach as high as high as +36, +38 degrees Celsius,” the National Environment Agency said.
The agency warns population about the risks of forest fires amid the high air temperature.
