Three helicopters tackle forest fire in Kvareli Municipality

Firefighters have failed to extinguish the forest fire in Akhalsofeli village of Kvareli Municipality.

Reportedly, three helicopters have been engaged in the firefighting operation.

In addition, an emergency headquarters was set up, headed by Temur Mgebrishvili, the head of the Emergency Management Service, to handle the fire.

Due to the difficult terrain, fire fighting equipment can not be used in the area.

The fire emerged on Akhalsofeli village of Kvareli Municipality yesterday.
