IPRM meeting canceled in Ergneti

Unfortunately, the constructive suggestions made by the central government have not been shared and they have again canceled the next meeting in the framework of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM), Irakli Antadze, head of the State Security Service's Analytical Department, said after the 95th IPRM meeting today.

As Irakli Antadze explained, the recent developments in village Chorchana should have been discussed at the meeting. But the representatives of Tskhinvali , with the support of the occupation forces, voiced extremely destructive position, they gave ultimatums and threatened the function of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism format in case their demands were not met.

“The Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism is not a format in which the language of ultimatums is acceptable and any issues can be addressed through dialogue. Unfortunately, the constructive suggestions made by the central government were not shared by them and they canceled the meeting again, ”Antadze said.
