A new cabinet of ministers and governmental program have been submitted to the Parliamentary Bureau.

Chairman of Parliament Archil Talakvadze introduced the new cabinet to the members of the Bureau.

“Georgian Prime Minister designate Giorgi Gakharia submitted the new composition of the Government of Georgia and the governmental program for 2019-2020.

The new composition of the government is as follows: Mikheil Batiashvili - Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, Levan Davitashvili - Minister of Environment and Agriculture, Natia Turnava - Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Irakli Gharibashvili - Minister of Defense, Tea Tsulukiani - Minister of Justice, Ekaterine Tikaradze - Minister of IDPs, Labour, Health and Social Affairs, Maia Tskitishvili - Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure, Davit Zalkaliani - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivane Machavariani - Finance Minister, Vakhtang Gomelauri - Minister of Internal Affairs, Ketevan Tsikhelashvili – Minister of Reconciliation and Civic Equality," said Talakvadze.

As the Speaker of Parliament explained, the new composition of the cabinet as well as the governmental program will be discussed in the committees and factions. Afterwards, the MPs will discuss the issues at the plenary session.
