De facto KGB starts construction of "border checkpoint" near Tsneli, raises “South Ossetian” flag

The so-called South Ossetian border guards have begun construction of a "border checkpoint" at the strategically important height near the village of Tsneli.

According to the de facto KGB, they restored the "border mark and raised the South Ossetian flag". They are also building a road leading to the "border checkpoint".

"The action of the South Ossetian border guards is not a threat to the inhabitants of the villages of Koba and Chorchana located along the border and is aimed at protecting the border regime and the security of South Ossetian citizens living in the border zone of the Znauri district. It is also aimed at stabilizing the military-political situation in the region,” reads the statement of the de facto KGB.
