Representatives of occupation forces almost finished arrangement of one ‘checkpoint’ on Georgian-controlled territory

Representatives of occupation forces continue to arrange checkpoints at two locations at the dividing line near Chorchana village, Khashuri Municipality.

Vazha Lomidze, spokesperson of Khashuri municipality city mayor, says that representatives of the de facto regime deployed wooden covered areas at the mentioned locations.

“The representatives of the occupation forces continue their illegal and provocative actions. They have already finished arrangement one so-called checkpoint and are now working on another one. This area is the territory controlled by the central government of Georgia. These illegal actions inflict damage to the residents living on both sides of the occupation line and create tension," Vazha Lomidze told InterPressNews.

Locals assess the deployment of “checkpoints” as another provocation.
