Azerbaijani, Armenian FMs to meet in late September

The Azerbaijani and Armenian foreign ministers may meet in late September, said Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev, Trend reported on Sept. 17.

Reportedly, the meeting will be held as part of the session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

The Nagorno Karabakh conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia began in 1988. The parties signed a ceasefire agreement in 1994, but both sides have repeatedly accused each other of violating the ceasefire regime since that time.
