I feel morally responsible for the people harmed during the rally, - Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said in response to a journalist's question of whether he deserved the Prime Minister’s post amidst of protests demanding his resignation.

"I understand your emotionality today, I also understand that this emotionality is directly linked to the rally due to be held today. Freedom of expression is protected in this country. As for my appointment, the Prime Minister is elected by the Parliament and voting was held for this,” Gakharia said.

When asked about the responsibility of the law enforcement officers, Gakharia said that the investigation was ongoing and all who abused power would be arrested.
