Irma Nadirashvili summoned to Prosecutor General's Office for questioning

Member of European Georgia Irma Nadirashvili has been summoned to the Prosecutor General's Office for questioning within the framework of the investigation into pardoning of convicts by President Salome Zourabichvili.

As InterPressNews was told by the Prosecutor General's Office, the lawmaker will arrive in the investigative department on Monday.

The Prosecutor General’s Office launched the investigation today. According to the agency, the investigation will examine the alleged abuse of power in the pardon process.

"The Prosecutor General's Office of Georgia has launched an investigation into the alleged abuse of power in the process of pardoning of convicts - Ramaz Devadze, Aslan Bezhanidze, Zurab Nadiradze and others," the agency says.
