Georgian wrestler becomes world champion

Geno Petriashvili, Georgian heavyweight freestyle wrestler (125 kg), won the 2019 World Wrestling Championships, hosted by Kazakhstan.

In the finals, Petriashvili defeated Taha Akgül from Turkey and won the title of the World Champion for the third time.

Geno Petriashvili also won license for Olympic Games.
