The Georgian national rugby team defeated the Uruguayan rivals 33-7 and managed to gain a bonus point at the World Rugby Championship in Japan. Georgia's number 8 Otar Giorgadze named as the best player.

Alexander Todua, Otar Giorgadze, Levan Chilachava, Jaba Bregvadze and Giorgi Kveseladze scored their tries and Tedo Abzhandadze kicked four successful conversions.

Georgia will hold the next match against Fiji.
