Archimandrite : Information provided by PM that clergymen would be able to enter all temples at  David Gareji Monastery Complex was inaccurate

The clergymen are able to arrive just at the Easter Temple, - Archimandrite of Georgia's David Gareji Monastery Complex Kirion (Oniani) told InterPressNews.

“Clergymen can arrive at the Easter Temple, located on the hill nearly 100 meters away from Udabno Monastery, but Udabno Monastery is still closed and there is no any changes in this regard,” Archimandrite Kirion said.

According to him, the information provided by the Prime Minister that the clergymen could arrive at all the temples located in the territory of David Gareji complex, was inaccurate.

“This information is not accurate. Clergymen can arrive just at the Easter Temple,” the Archimandrite said.

Following his visit to Baku, Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia announced that churches at the David Gareji complex would be open for Georgian clergymen from October 11.
