The Georgian Wine Festival 2019 promotes Georgian wine, - Deputy Minister of Environment and Agriculture of Georgia Khatia Tsilosani said at the Georgian Wine Festival.

The Deputy Minister delivered a speech at the opening of the festival, after which she made comments for the media, noting that the Georgian Wine Festival is a good tool of communication with the public.

“This festival promotes Georgian wine. More and more companies are participating in similar festivals every year. The festival brings together both big wine companies and small wine cellars, giving them opportunities to provide information to tourists and people interested in Georgian wine, offer them their product and get extra income. This is a good means of communication with the public to inform them of the development of the wine sector in Georgia and all the important measures jointly taken by the government and the private sector for promoting the wine industry's success internationally, "- said the Deputy Minister.

The major wine festival of the year - Georgian Wine Festival 2019 - is ongoing on Shardeni Street. The festival, which is being organized for the third time by Palitra Media, allwine.ge and Maidan Group, will last till 19:00.
