Police officers of Samtskhe-Javakheti Department of the Internal Affairs Ministry have detained D.V. (DoB 1953) and his son R.V. (DoB 1977) for domestic violence.

As InterPressNews was informed by the Interior Ministry m an investigation has established that R.V. and his father D.V. physically and verbally assaulted his wife and threatened to kill her.

The investigation is in progress under paragraph II, Article 126 (1), paragraph II, Article 11 (1) -Article 126 , paragraph I Article 11 (1) -Article 151 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.

The crime is punishable by the imprisonment for up to 2 years.
