Mother, accused of murdering own son, suffers from diminished responsibility
The results of the physical examination of the minor mother, who is accused of murdering her 7-month-old son, show that she is suffering from diminished responsibility, a source told InterPressNews.
The source, familiar with the matter, noted that the defendant’s lawyer, Ermile Cheishvili, refrains from commenting on the issue since this is the minor criminal case and she does not have the right to speak about details.
The Gori District court sentenced the minor, who was accused of murdering her son, to 6 years of imprisonment.
Police detained a 16-year-old girl in the village of Aghaiani, Kaspi Municipality, on May 21 of 2019.
