Protest rally was organized by In the Service of the Country movement in the King's Square in Telavi. Civic activists and representatives of the opposition political parties took part in the rally.

Demosntrators protested agasint the June 20-events in Tbilisi. According to the organizers, the aim of the movement is to send the government home by through "proportional elections."

Prior to the rally, activists marched on the city's central streets.
