The Tskhinvali occupation regime accusses the EU observes of violiaiton of the so-called border.

As reported by the Res Agency, Igor Kochiev, head of the so-called South Ossetian delegation to the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism, said that the “South Ossetian” border guards stopped the EUMM mission patrols in the village of Tsneli for violaiting the “border” today. After the border guards were convinced that they were indeed EU observers, they offered them to leave the republic.

According to him, the “South Ossetian” side immediately activated the hotline, through which they told the observation mission that such steps were inadmissible, as it seriously aggravated the already tense situation in the district.

"Such an action of the observers is provocative ahead of another technical meeting aimed at defusing the situation in Tsneli," Igor Kochiev said.
