Geostat : Georgian economy grows by 5.2 percent y/y in September

The estimated real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth rate equaled 5.2 percent y/y in September, according to the to the preliminary results of the Georgian national statistics office, Gogita Todradze, the Executive Director of the Geostat, announced at the briefing on Thursday.

He also said that an average estimated real GDP growth equaled 5.0 percent for the first nine months of 2019 y-o-y.

Gogita Todradze noted that in September 2019, the estimated real growth compared to the same period of the previous year was posted in the following activities: construction, transport, trade, hotels and restaurants, manufacturing.
