The Holy Synod will mediate and ask President to pardon Archpriest Giorgi Mamaladze, Petre Tsaava, the Metropolitan of Chkondidi, told reporters after he left the meeting of the Holy Synod today.

He said the Holy Synod took unanimous decision on this issue.

“The Holy Synod unanimously shared the request of Archpriest Giorgi Mamaladze and decided to mediate with President, asking to pardon the Archpriest, “Petre Tsaava said.
