I intend to continue the fight for improvement of the church, for starting the process of resolving existing problems, former Metropolitan of Chkondidi Petre Tsaava said at a news conference in Martvili on Monday.

He also noted that the reports about his intention to continue serving in the Greek Church are “rumors.”

“This is another rumor. Let’s do not reply to rumors,” Petre Tsaava said.

When asked, whether he was going to obey the order of Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II to serve at the Shio Mgvime Monastery after leaving the Chkondidi Diocese, former Metropolitan said he did not plan to obey sinfulness and injustice.

“I have made a vow to obey Jesus Christ before I die. I will not obey injustice and impurity, ”Petre Tsaava said.
