MP Kakha Okriashvili: Today the voting was postponed in order to reprimand and press my colleagues again

Today the voting was postponed in order to reprimand and press my colleagues again. It is unfortunate that they are in this state, - majoritarian MP Kakha Okriashvili told reporters.

The lawmaker denies the reports that Bidzina Ivanishvili is behind those opposing the voting.

“I wanted the voting to be held today. It is clear that no more than 30 people support this outdated system. I don't know what will happen tomorrow. I can say that I will not support it tomorrow too, but I do not know what others will do.

If Bidzina Ivanishvili were behind this, 120 people would not have voted for. On the contrary, he reprimanded several people in the morning, which is very unfortunate, and I think the voting was postponed today in order to reprimand and press my colleagues again. It is unfortunate that they are in this state,” Kakha Okriashvili said.

According to him, he will attend the majority session scheduled before the Parliament session.
