“South Ossetian KGB” publishes details of interrogation of detained Georgian doctor

The so called South Ossetian de facto KGB has published details of the interrogation of Vazha Gaprindashvili, who was illegally detained by the Tskhinvali regime. According to the de facto committee, Gaprindashvili said that he had deliberately crossed the border because he wanted to go to the monastery.

According to the agency, Dr. Gaprindashvili is in favor of Georgia's NATO membership and "denies the fact of crossing the border, declaring that the above is the legitimate right of Georgian citizens." Vazha Gaprindashvili believes that South Ossetia is occupied by Russia and Russia is Georgia's main enemy, Ossetian media reports.

Vazha Gaprindashvili was arrested in the Akhalgori district and was ordered to two-month pre-trial detention on November 15. According to reports, Vazha Gaprindashvili was going to see a patient on the occupied territory.
