A delegate of the International Committee of the Red Cross has visited doctor Vazha Gaprindashvili in the Tskhinvali prison.

As InterPressNews was told by the International Committee of the Red Cross, the delegate talked to Vazha Gaprindashvili face to face.

“It was our second visit. As you know, the first visit was paid on November 18. Our delegate met him at about 14:00. The meeting was held in accordance with our demand, which implied staying face to face with him. We also handed him a letter from his family and this time he gave us a reply letter, which we have already given to his family. Unfortunately, I do not have the right to speak about the details. The only thing I can tell you because of the high public interest is that he feels fine," said Maya Kardava, head of public relations at the International Committee of the Red Cross.
