Customs officers detect narcotic and psychotropic drugs in luggage belonging to Georgian, Turkish and British citizens

Customs officers of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance detected narcotic and psychotropic drugs after detailed inspection of the luggage belonging to the Georgian, Turkish and British citizens at the customs checkpoint at “Kutaisi Airport”.

The Revenue Service said they seized 440 pills and 11 capsules of narcotic drugs and 208 pills of psychotropic drugs.

The case materials have been sent to Tskaltubo District Department of the Internal Affairs Ministry. An investigation has been launched under provision I, Article 260 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
