The officers of Anti-corruption Agency under the State Security Service of Georgia, as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, detained Tariel T., chief officer of Supervision Service under Keda Municipality Administrative Unit for taking a bribe.

As the State Security Service of Georgia said in a statement on Friday, an investigation has established, that Tariel T. demanded and accepted from a citizen in two parts GEL 2000 and in return promised protection of illegal construction on a state-owned land in village Medzibna, Keda municipality.

The investigation is in progress on the fact of bribe-taking. (Article 338, part I of the Criminal Code of Georgia that envisages from 6 to 9 years of imprisonment).
