Employee of Tetritskaro City Hall arrested for bribery

The officers of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the State Security Service have arrested the head of the property management department of Tetritskaro City Hall on charges of bribery.

According to the State Security Service, the investigation found that Lasha K. demanded a bribe from a Turkish citizen, namely GEL 1,000 in exchange for leasing a plot of land in Tetritskaro municipality.

Investigation is in progress under article 338 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which provides for imprisonment from 6 to 9 years. The investigation is being conducted by the Anti-Corruption Agency of the State Security Service.
