The authorities often need to be shaken sometimes, be it from the side of international organizations, Zugdidi or the streets of Tbilisi, -Davit Usupashvili, leader of the Development Movement, said.

According to Usupashvili, the government should be ready for a reasonable compromise.

“We know exactly that no laws can be passed on the streets. So, when we demand the model of proportional elections, we understand that this must be done in the Parliament. It means that the government must be ready to work. As soon as the government is ready for this, I promise that I will take part in it. Everything has to come to an agreement in a civilized way, but the authorities often need to be shaken sometimes, be it from the side of international organizations, Zugdidi or the streets of Tbilisi. We must do everything to return processes to the state lifestyle, but the government needs to be ready for a reasonable compromise,” Davit Usupashvili said.
